3D CBCT Scan
3D Cone Beam Digital Imaging offers 3D views of cranium, jaws, cervical spine and airway, as well as traditional dental images with 90% less radiation than a medical CT Scan. If offers 3D imaging of C1-C2 down to C7 in natural upright posture. It has exclusive Safe Beam Technology that reduces child exposure. The scan is covered by most major medical plans and we offer an optional radiologist report to rule out pathology. It is open and only takes 18 seconds for a scan.
K7 Jaw Tracking Technology
We use state of the art Jaw Tracking technology to track the motion and velocity of the lower jaw as well as recording the patient’s habitual opening and closing of their mouth to locate any deviations. Surface Electromyography (SEMG) accurately measures and records muscle status and function. We measure jaw joint noises using Electrosonography, which measures joint vibration in both joints simultaneously. The test is used as a quick assessment of joint status and to document the patient’s response to treatment.
