Dental-Facial Data Bank Webinar (3/14/13)
A child’s diet influences their dental facial-development. Cranio-dental structural alignment in turn affects systemic health in adult life.
What is the Dental-Facial Data Bank (DFDB)?
It is a new central library founded by Felix Liao, DDS to gather digital dental-facial data of children ages 7, 12, and 17 for longitudinal studies on nutrition-cranial-dental-systemic health connections. It has been jointly endorsed by the Weston A. Price Foundation (WAPF) and the International Academy of Biological Dentistry & Medicine (IABDM).
Our first study will compare the oral-systemic health of children growing up on a Standard American Diet with those on Nourishing Traditions Diet advocated by WAPF. Later studies can track participating individuals’ medical and dental health through each decade of their lives, and their offsprings’ as well. Dentists trained in standardized cephalometric data collection and monitoring children’s dental-facial growth and development are needed.
As an IABDM member, you are invited to become a Certified Dentist to provide for the DDB.
The webinar discusses the benefits of becoming Certified:
Better-educated parents, including WAPF members, who value optimal dental-facial development for their children
Acquire skill and knowledge for optimal dental-facial development
Grow a new practice and income stream within your current office
Increase referrals and gain additional recognition in your community
Greater professional and personal satisfaction as a dental physician
